About

I’m Mary Marinov, a postgraduate trainee in Dance Movement Psychotherapy and a creative practitioner working across visual arts, textile crafts, ceramics, photography, and movement. This site brings various strands of my practice together.

Before training, I spent nearly two decades as a language service provider (interpreter, translator, and ESOL tutor) working in multicultural and neurodivergent settings. That work shaped how I listen and how I think about communication beyond words. I’m autistic and have ADHD (AuDHD), and I have lived experience of parenting AuDHD children. That informs my interest in neurodiversity-affirming approaches to creative and therapeutic work.
